Person Specification We are looking for someone who is: • A committed and growing Christian, rooted in prayer, Scripture, and church life. • Attentive to the leading of the Holy Spirit in ministry, relationships and decision making. • Passionate about seeing children and young people come to faith and grow as disciples. • Warm, fun, and engaging — able to build positive relationships with children and young people of all ages. • Strong communication skills — clear, encouraging, and a good listener. • Able to lead, support, and inspire volunteers, helping them grow in confidence and skills. • A collaborative team player, willing to “muck in” and take a practical, hands on approach when needed. • Organised and reliable, able to plan sessions and manage time effectively. • Committed to safeguarding and the wellbeing of all children and young people. • Understanding of the challenges facing children and young people today, and how the church can support them. • Ability to design creative, engaging activities that help young people explore faith. • Confidence in leading prayer, worship, or small groups. • Willingness to develop new initiatives that reach young people beyond the church including schools and community settings.
